Red Wriggler worms love baked squash skins

Wriggler wormsMy worms mainly eat banana peels, tea bags and, in this photo, the skin of a beautiful turban squash I baked a few nights ago.  It looks like the worms are really digging this squash.

boxMy worms live in a box in an unused shower.  It’s very convenient to keep the bedding moist.  I just take the cover off and turn the shower on for a few seconds.
