Tech Networks of Boston has been selected as a 2017 Best for the World honoree, as a Service Provider with Minor Environmental Footprint for the Community and the Long Term. This honor was awarded to select organizations who have achieved a Certified B Corporation status.
Certified B Corporation were evaluated and selected based on areas of impact, including: Best For Workers, Best For Community, Best For Customers, Best For The Environment, Best For The Long Term, and Best For The World: Changemakers.

In 2016, Tech Networks of Boston renewed their certification through B Lab, the nonprofit certifying body for all B Corporations. The B Impact Assessment they administer scores companies’ environmental and social performance on a 200-point scale. In 2014, Tech Networks of Boston scored 108 and in 2016, were re-certified as a B Corporation with an improved score of 146. The measure evaluates a B Corporation on its impact with respect to Environment, Workers, Community, and Corporate Governance.
